Sunday Letter - "Rise Up" Easter Service

It is Easter once again, and here in Minnesota, it feels like Spring is finally here! The snow is melting at last, and there are warmer temperatures on the horizon. It truly is a celebration of new life and a symbol that death and darkness always herald new life and brighter days!

Whatever challenges you are facing at this time, pause and release any anxiety, any fears or worries, and know that you can rise up beyond the difficulties into a higher place in consciousness. I love the words to Andra Day’s song, “Rise Up.” Here are some of them:

And I'll rise up
I'll rise like the day
I'll rise up
I'll rise unafraid
I'll rise up
And I'll do it a thousand times again
And I'll rise up
High like the waves
I'll rise up
In spite of the ache
I'll rise up
And I'll do it a thousand times again
For you, For you, For you, For you.

The idea of rising up and moving forward triumphantly is so inspirational. Let us cling to that, despite outer appearances, knowing that the Christ within lifts us beyond our troubles into a realm of perfect peace and comfort, into a realm of love and oneness, into a realm of health and wholeness, into a realm of unity and oneness, into a realm of abundance. Let us open our hearts and minds to that truth. You may want to look up the words to that song and sing it as an anthem, affirm it as a prayer!

If it helps, think of Jesus, the man, and be inspired by his life and especially by his love. And most of all, call upon the Cosmic Christ, the Divine Presence within each one of us and all of creation. That Presence is always with us, guiding and directing us in all that we do.

Thank you loving Spirit for another Easter and our ability to rise from the tomb of crucifixion into the light of resurrection!

Happy Easter!

Love & blessings!
