I took watercolor lessons from Kathleen Parker from 2001-2007 and attended a few workshops by other artists during that time. I took a break from painting until the pandemic. Since April of 2020, I have been a monthly watercolor subscriber to LetsMakeArt.com. I ordered a bonus box of four lessons painting dogs using gouache, an opaque watercolor medium. That lead me to learn to paint realistic pet portraits in watercolor (Teacher: Rebecca Rhodes).
From the raffle winner, Ann will need several close-up color photos of your companion dog or cat to paint their portrait. The finished painting will be 5" x 7" and ready to be matted and framed with a ready-made 8" x 10" mat and frame.
