Sunday Service - Self-Inquiry

Our lives are made up of stories that we live and remember, from the time we are old enough to recite something that happened to us. The stories that help guide us to our true Self are those that open our hearts. In many ways, we are all on a journey to discover the Self at the center of our being. Some of our experiences, however, are educational, others are for socialization, some are for entertainment, and others are for awakening.

The true Self can be discovered along the way in any of those “categories,” but the ones that help shift us into a new state of conscious awareness are those that help us discover who we really are. There is a difference in an intellectual realization and a heart-based one.

The lesson this week can help you delve into questions like “Who am I? Why am I here?” Take time out for some self-inquiry. You may discover something incredibly important and even have some fun in the process.
