Sunday Service - Miracles of Grace and Transformation

If you stop to think about it and list the miracles in your life, you will be amazed! It is truly…amazing grace! And miracles tend to bring transformation.

As a matter of fact, no matter what we might be going through, we can expect a miracle. Whatever the concern or the crisis—financial, health, work, relationship, loss, grief, or the overcoming of fear…we can always expect a miracle.

We might think of miracles as “shifts in consciousness that undo the past in the present and release the future.” It is important for some of us to see miracles as higher law that we just have not yet understood. And some prefer the idea that miracles are a direct act of God becoming personally involved in our lives. Or that miracles are expressions of grace, God’s love in action, an unearned gift.

Some tend to think about the miracle stories of Scripture: Noah and the Ark, Daniel and the Lion’s Den, Moses parting the Red Sea, the prophets Elijah and Elisha and their many miracles.

And we may identify miracles with Jesus as we remember his many countless miracles of healing, miracles of supply, turning water into wine, multiplying loaves and fishes, demonstrations of walking on water, calming the winds and seas, and calling people back from the dead.

These are said to be the “big miracles.” And yet, we should not conclude that miracles are only to be found in mighty tempests and burning bushes, and not in the common, everyday events of life.

When we begin to truly notice the wonders all around us, then we can let go of the need for the big miracle to save us. We realize that every miracle experience, no matter how great or small, carries with it the potential for spiritual transformation. Pay attention to your miracles!
