The Master Teacher Jesus said, “I came that you might have life and have it more abundantly.” Prosperity is your birthright. It is your Divine inheritance, bequeathed to you by Divine right. Our job as co-creators with the Divine is to wake up to our inherent divinity. How then can we remain in the flow of prosperity?
To have a prosperity consciousness we first have to surrender—letting go of our fears by relaxing and centering ourselves in Spirit. We release, we let go, and we let God, turning our worries and concerns over to the Divine.
Next, we activate our optimism. We focus on what we want, not what we don’t want. We replace negative thoughts with positive ones. When we feel ourselves slipping into the doldrums, we search for positive things to do:
- Become playful and light-hearted
- Allow yourself to play without a reason
- Do something kind for another
- Watch or listen to less news
- Compliment someone
- Smile more often
- Spend time doing something you love
Becoming positive and optimistic can help to open the creative flow and move us back into a greater consciousness of our abundance.
Then, persevering in our efforts can make all the difference. Our efforts are strong and powerful as we choose to activate our abundance through surrender and letting go, through optimism and staying positive, and through perseverance—committing to stay in the flow of prosperity, despite outer appearances. Over time and effort, those outer appearances change to synchronize with our prosperity consciousness.
