Sunday Service - Confident in Father Love

The lesson title for this week is “Confident in Father Love.” Rhonda Italiano is our Guest Speaker, for which I am grateful. I am free of the two-month fever and infection (knock on wood) and am regaining strength. I appreciate all of the speakers stepping forward until I return on Sunday, July 6. Thank you all for your patience and understanding through this time!

No matter what kind of father we have or have had—kind, loving, compassionate, or the opposite—we can always remain confident in the love of our Divine Father. That is true father love—that which teaches us, guides us, encourages us, and even challenges us. It is the love that inspires us to do our best, to aspire to live according to our values and principles. It is also the love that we feel even when we make mistakes or fail to live up to our ideals. It is a love that is omnipresent—everywhere present; omnipotent—all powerful; and omniscient—all knowing.

It is a blessing to have the love of a kind earthly father, and to be able to access the positive traits of “father” within ourselves. But regardless of our family background, we all have access to the Divine Father. Remember to call upon that presence and power whenever you have need, and you will find an answer.

Happy Father’s Day!

Love & Blessings,
Rev. Kathy
