Sunday Service - Coming Home, Week 4: Honoring Evolution

Welcome to Week 4 of our Coming Home series. This week, we delve into the prize of the journey, with the realization that becoming conscious of the Self is our true return Home. The lesson is "Honoring Evolution."

As the transformation brought about by the change of heart or shifting of center from ego to Self continues, the unitive consciousness we once had begins to return. This time, we know what it is: we are at home with God, intimate with all of the created world, and aware of this state (which comes first “in flashes of cosmic consciousness”—and then deepens and becomes our norm).

It is what we had experienced as a small child, and what we have felt nostalgia for all these years—this time, however, we are not unconscious infants, but conscious adults who have made a choice to let this way of life become our highest value. We are home at last, after a long journey.

We become more in touch with our Divine nature and also experience our connection with the greater collective. We sense our past lives informing us as well as our intuition and Divine wisdom. We realize that our continuing evolution requires our co-creation with God.

Getting off the karmic wheel means evolving to a state of consciousness where we no longer create negative cause and effect. We react from the Divine Self rather than ego. We bring the light of Christ-awareness, forgiveness, and love to our current moment, and dissolve old karmic ties. We walk out of the classroom and step off the karmic wheel and know the holy ground we stand on.

We also come to know that there is also a great collective and cosmic evolution to consider. We are part of an interconnected tapestry and amazing cosmos. We come to know that each conscious act of love helps us all give birth to greater oneness and to the entire Universe waking up.

Join us for this amazing conclusion to our four-week series at our 10:30 am CT Sunday Service and follow-up Wednesday class at 6:30 pm CT on Zoom.

Love & blessings,
Rev. Kathy
