Come Celebrate the Winter Solstice with us.
The Winter Solstice is also known as Yule. Yule is when the dark half of the year relinquishes to the light half. Starting the next morning at sunrise, the sun climbs just a little higher and stays a little longer in the sky each day. The sun's "rebirth" was celebrated with much joy. From this day forward, the days would become longer.
We will reflect on what we discovered during the dark time and start to think about what we would like to bring to the light.
Join us for music, fun and a simple feast.
What to bring:
- Simple food to share
- Drum or rattle if you wish
