As spiritual beings having a human experience, we sometimes need to review lessons we have had in the past. One of these recurring lessons is peacemaking. Peacemaking involves resolving conflict. It also includes evaluating our expectations and assumptions regarding our own behavior and that of others.
- How do we experience peace in our lives?
- How do we create a sense of peace for ourselves and our community?
- What do we do when we feel a lack of peace?
- How do we handle conflict?
As we prepare for a change in leadership at Unity North, we have retained the services of a consultant from Unity Worldwide Ministries, Rev. Dr. Steve Colladay. Recently, we hosted two work- shops with Steve Colladay. Steve had several recommendations for us, including a study of The I of the Storm by Gary Simmons. The I of the Storm invites the reader to examine who we have labeled as friend or enemy, and why. The book also provides practical advice for our daily lives.
Join Rhonda to read and discuss The I of the Storm by Garry Simmons.
