Foundations of Shamanic Practice

What do the ancient practices and perspectives of shamanism offer our modern, fast-paced, technology-heavy world? Without any intention to become shamans most everyone can use shamanic techniques to deepen their spirituality, restore their connection with the natural world, and safely foster direct spiritual experience. In this foundational seminar, we will explore the spiritual technologies that, for millennia, have supported self-realization, personal empowerment, and the restoration of our spiritual connections.

Instruction and practice in the shamanic journey will be included, along with some of its alternatives. To that end, participants will be led on two journeys into the Otherworld to enhance their strength and wisdom.

Written preparatory material will be provided to those who register by Friday, August 25.

This seminar will provide tools for spiritual autonomy, as well as to prepare those new to shamanic practice for Karl’s two shamanic series “Restoring the Sacred” and “Shamanic Astrology.”
